Founded in 1987 and based in Kongsvinger, Norway, Silva System AS is a leading supplier of new and used machinery. The Finnish forestry machine brand PONSSE was introduced to the Norwegian market in 1994 by Silva System AS.
The company’s owner has a strong focus on innovation and has played an active role in developing new products tailored for both construction and forestry in Norway and international markets.

‍MEGA products such as grapples, buckets, and log splitters are supplied by Silva System AS and manufactured today at PMT OÜ’s factory in Estonia. The HUMUS range of accessories for construction, forestry, and agriculture is also part of the collaboration between Silva System AS and PMT OÜ.

Over the years, Cranab Slagkraft AB’s crane solutions — including grapples, rotators, and linkages — have been a key part of the company’s activities. Cranes for forestry, sawmills, industry, and timber transport by truck are today an important focus area for the company.

With Log Max harvesting heads, we also provide complete solutions including installation on excavators. The powerful rotators from Marttiini Oy have been present in the Norwegian market for over 10 years through Silva System AS — experience that has helped establish our strong reputation for quality.
